ABOUT LINA
Celebrity makeup artist Lina Hanson was born and raised in Sweden where eco-conscious living was an engrained part of her life. In the fall of 1999, Lina moved to New York City where she met and was personally trained by top celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell.
Today, Lina is one of the top makeup artists and natural beauty experts in Hollywood. She has worked with some of Hollywood’s most celebrated artists such as, Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, Brooke Shields, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Mandy Moore, Javier Bardem, Orlando Bloom and Ewan McGregor. Her work has appeared in publications like Vogue, Elle, W, Harper’s Bazaar and Instyle.
She is also the author of the book “Eco-Beautiful—The Ultimate Guide to Natural Beauty and Wellness,” in which she covers everything from caring for your skin to creating an evening makeup look using all natural products. In addition to her book, Lina writes a beauty column for Ecouterre.com, one of the most popular eco fashion blogs on the internet.
Through her products, book, blog and green beauty workshops Lina is committed to educating people “that you don’t have to sacrifice the way you look by going green. Green can still be glamorous!”
