ABOUT LINA

Makeup Artist Lina Hanson was born and raised in Sweden. In 1997 Lina moved to London, England where she began working in the fashion industry. In 2000, Lina relocated to New York City to pursue her true passion—a career in the makeup industry. Lina was personally trained by celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell (creator of Stila Cosmetics). While working alongside Lobell for three years, Lina mastered and refined her talent. Today, Lina has managed to establish a distinct image for herself in the versatile industry of makeup. She has worked with some of Hollywood’s most celebrated artists such as Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, Portia de Rossi, Jewel, Brooke Shields, Mandy Moore and Zac Efron among others. She is the author of “Eco-Beautiful: The Ultimate Guide to Natural Beauty and Wellness.” Lina’s skilled artistry has appeared in publications like Vogue, In Style, W, and Elle as well as on the runways for such top designers as Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore, Alice Roi, and Lily Pulitzer. Lina has collaborated with some of the industry’s most well-known photographers such as Ellen Von Unwerth, Nino Munoz, Tom Ford, Art Schreiber, and Doug Inglish. Lina has developed a cutting edge style and is quickly becoming one of the makeup industry’s true mainstays. She has relocated to Los Angeles to continue her growing career as a makeup artist.
